DSHADE (Montreal)

Formerly part of Montreal's Shades Of Culture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shades_of_Culture), DShade has been a veteran of the city's hip-hop scene since 1992. Shade, as most call him, has had the opportunity to work with a whole slew of producers, djs and emcees over the years. In 1998 Shade released his debut single "Do the Math" / "Full Contact" with Dave One( CHROMEO) and world renowned DJ A Trak's label, Audio Research ditributed by Fat beats. In addition, good friend and producer DJ Choice(the mind behind Montreal Franco-Emcees Dubmatique) was behind the production of the A side of the single.

This Emcee has built a solid reputation for being able to rock the stage anytime, anyplace, for just about anybody. And with just about anybody he's shared stages with Eminem, Gangstarr, EPMD, Beatnuts, KRS One, Del The Funky Homosapien, Sean P, Masta Ace, Slum Village, CL Smooth, Royce the 5'9,Common, Pharcyde, Onyx, Ice T, House of Pain, Gravediggaz, Maestro Fresh Wes, Rahzel, Herbaliser, Public Enemy, Schooly D, IAM, Backstreet Boys, Ben Harper, Bad Brains, SNFU, Lagwagon, Strung Out, Good Riddance, Judy Mowatt, Doughboys, Bran Van 3000 and DJ Q-bert, Robertson, Jah Cuttah. And there are alot more...

Shade has appeared on several albums, singles, shows and mixtapes in the last few years:
